• On June 11, 2024, the topping-out ceremony of the new Sport Arena Wien at Handelskai was celebrated.

• This modern multifunctional hall replaces the former Ferry Dusika Stadium and sets new standards for amateur and elite sport in Vienna.

• The new Sport Arena Wien offers three independently usable halls and space for around 3,000 spectators.

• Movable grandstand elements allow flexible use for training and competitions.

• The Sport Arena Wien will be the first energy-self-sufficient sports hall in Austria and is to receive a “climate-active gold” certification. The building will be powered exclusively by renewable energy and will set new standards in climate protection.
