We have the construction site of the project RAIQA in Innsbruck.
We were able to observe the assembly of the first steel parts for the point-supported flat ceiling made of cross-laminated timber.
The steel parts used are a modification of the system connector SPIDER the company Rothoblaas, which together with the Innsbruck University of Technology as patent holders for the specific requirements of this project and raised to the required load level.
We also helped out and lent a hand to the screwing.
The connection between the individual cross-laminated timber panels was made using TC FUSION from Rothoblaas.
The team of Carpentry Scherer perfectly implements the planned wooden construction.
